No Accident ~ Part 4 ~ 99-100 Years Into the Aquarian Age

In Part One of this series I discussed Saturn’s initial 2025 ingress or movement into 0° Aries one day before I tripped and shattered my left wrist, marking the beginning of my second Saturn Return. In Part Two I discussed some of the archetypal energies of the 2025-2026 Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries, which is exact on 20-21 February 2026 – the day before and day of the Mother’s 148th birthday, and 8-9 days after my 57th birthday. In Part 3 of this series, I discussed the avatar’s or avataric mission of manifesting the Divine on Earth as the highest of high archetypal expressions of the energies of Saturn conjunct Neptune at 0° Aries. In Part Four I will discuss the timing of this conjunction in relation to Thea’s [Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet's] 1926 measure of our entrance into the Age of Aquarius. In Part Five I will discuss the timing of my 25 May 2025 accident in relation to Sri Aurobindo’s 26 November “Immortality Day.”
As discussed in Geometric Keys of Vedic Wisdom (book and blog), Thea’s 9 October 2016 passing fell 90 years, 9 months and 9 days into the Age of Aquarius, according to her own seeing, understanding, and measure of the 12-age, 25,920-year Great Year, aka the Precession of the Equinoxes and the Platonic Year. It was in this pivotal year and week of her passing that the vesica piscis and its “eternal son,” the radius of the circle, was given to me as a key of Vishnu’s avatars, the Vedic and zodiacal KUMBHA or Water Jar, and of the Vedic Rivers. And with this precious 2016-given key, I proceeded to decode, demystify, and integrate the confusing array of long-misunderstood symbols regarding the seven-fold Vedic Apocalypse, and likewise all of the seemingly-unrelated, but none-the-less-interrelated, post-Vedic symbols, lore, mythologies, and religious ideologies born out of it, including the biblical Apocalypse, aka Revelation, and all other varieties of apocalyptic messianism.
With the above in mind, we can appreciate 2025 and all of its happenings, as the 99th year of the Aquarian Age, and the first year of our 2025-2034 ennead [see illustration]. The “happenings” that are most present in my mind as I write this series are Saturn and Neptune’s initial 2025 ingress into 0° Aries, two close conjunctions of Saturn and Neptune in early Aries, [1] my accident, the discovery and tracking of 3I/Atlas, the 9th anniversary of Thea’s passing, as well as the US Congress’s 19 November passing of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the subsequent 19 December release and ongoing obstruction of these incriminating files, and the corresponding reality check and dismantling [Saturn] of the architecture of alternative facts, myths, and misinformation [Neptune] upon which Trump’s presidency and MAGA are based. Note that the exact conjunction of Saturn and Neptune at 0° Aries, on 20-21 February 2026—the day before and day of the Mother’s 148th birthday— falls one year into our new ennead, and 100 years (99 + 1) into our Aquarian Age.
The significance of 9, 90 & 99 year cycles in the descent of the supramental consciousness
On 19 November 1969 the Mother had and experience of the supramental consciousness that prompted her to share the following with her secretary, Satprem:
“[Each point of the Whole] has the possibility of being conscious of itself AND conscious of the original Unity. And that's the work now being accomplished, that is to say, each infinitesimal element of this Consciousness, while retaining this state of consciousness, is now recapturing the total original state of consciousness – the result is the original Consciousness conscious of its Unity AND conscious of the whole play: all the innumerable elements of this Unity.…
“There are no OPPOSITES. No opposites – not even contradictions, I say, no opposites. It’s that Unity, it’s LIVING in that Unity And it’s not expressed in thoughts and words. I tell you, it was... a limitless immensity and a light... a motionless light, and at the same time a well-being... without even the appreciation of a well-being.
“Now I am convinced that’s what the supramental consciousness is….
“The whole is brought with lightning speed toward the consciousness that will be this Consciousness of the point and the whole at the same time.
“There, I'll write today's date.
“19 November 1969: supramental consciousness. [2]
“The first descent of the supramental Force was on a 29th. [3] And this is on a 19th. The figure 9 has something to do with all this .... There are so many things we don't know!

Thea’s initiation into the Supramental Yoga—led precisely by the Mother—began in the 9-power year of 1971 [1 + 9 + 7 + 1 = 18 = 1 + 8 = 9]; and as Thea wrote in her autobiographical book, The Tenth Day of Victory, the number 9 was “central” to her 1971 initiation, and moreover was “the key” of her “whole destiny.” [4] Thus from 1971 onward, Thea began seeing, understanding, and writing about the importance of the number 9 and cycles of 9, 90, and 99 (as well as larger 9-based cycles) with regards to the descent of supramental divine consciousness in our Aquarian Age. She wrote of this “descent” as the formation of a supramental seed of unity—a new consciousness that reconciles Spirit (0) and Matter (9), Light and Dark, individual and collective, near and far, uniting all fragments and opposites, thus seeding the creation of “Heaven on Earth,” or the “Life Divine.” In The New Way, Vols. 1 & 2, she wrote that her initiatory year of 1971 marked the midpoint (i.e. the 4.5 Point) between 1926 and 2016, falling 45 years after the 1926 start of our Aquarian Age and 45 years before 2016.
“When considering the full period of 90 years for the Aquarian Age, the count ends at 2016, the important year…with respect to the Core of the [Mother’s temple] chamber. 2016 falls at the base of the pedestal; nine years added to it brings us to 2025, at the centre of the globe, a position that corresponds to 1971 and once again our vision is brought back to the forty-fifth year of the Aquarian Age and the crucial decade of the 70's, the 45/54 enneatic period occultly related to 1917/1926.” (Thea, The New Way, Vols. 1 & 2, written in 1977, p. 440, bold emphasis added)
Thea wrote this not knowing or expecting that 2016 would be the year of her own passing. In the same book (p. 254), she did predict 2016 as the year she would “withdraw from the Work;” but when asked about this during her 2014-2016 illness, she clarified that she did not mean by these words that 2016 would be the year of her passing. Regardless, that is how her “withdraw from the Work” indeed happened, in conjunction with my receipt of the crucial keys of restoring the Sanatana Dharma of the Vedic Rishis, so that I could pick up the Work where she left off. Note that Thea’s passing fell not only 45 years after the 1971 midpoint (4.5 Point) of 1926-2016, more exactly, it fell 45 years and 1 day after her (and her son’s) first meeting with the Mother in Pondicherry on 8 October 1971. [5] I share these details to help readers understand not only the avatars’ supramental relationship with Time (=Chronos/Saturn), but also to encourage readers to contemplate and see their own supramental relationship with Time, wherein, despite appearances, there are NO ACCIDENTS.
My 1969 birth and the Mother’s 1973 passing straddled 1971—the 4.5 point year of 1926-2016—by two years on either side. Of course at that reversal point, Thea knew nothing of my birth or what I would be tasked with year and the week of her own passing. Thea had been compelled by her inner relationship with the Mother, to move to Pondicherry in 1971 and was thus present at the time of the Mother’s 19 November 1973 passing at the age of 95 and 9 months. As told in the first volume of The Tenth Day of Victory, the Mother’s passing had a profound impact on Thea, empowering her to carry out her yogic Work henceforth.
‘[J]ust one day short of completion of the nine months from [the Mother’s] birthday, on November 20th [1973, the Mother] was placed in the Samadhi. A bizarre form of 'gestation' was over.
“The most important feature of this discovery was, once more, the exactitude of the controlling power of time and its insistence on the 9 cycle for matters concerning this Yoga; essential matters, I might add. Nothing could be more essential than the Mother's final withdrawal from the physical plane. Yet it appeared that just as a human being requires a nine-month gestation to come into this material world, so too the Mother had required a nine-month 'gestation' to exit and enter another dimension. But the fact that Time was intertwined in the process seemed to indicate that the 'world' she had entered was somehow close to this physical or in some way within the domain of our own time. It would seem as if there is never any question of death in a higher process of this order but simply an endless series of 'births'.
“It was also interesting to note that the date of the dedicated copy did not give me a clue to the day of the Mother's actual passing—November 17—but rather the time of my last 'darshan' with her, November 18. Here again, as when I had asked for a meeting in September of 1972, either to commemorate my arrival in the Ashram (September 29) or our first actual meeting (October 8), she chose rather the date of my arrival. She seemed to be focussing my attention then on something far more essential than our actual physical meeting. So too in this matter, she appeared to be laying more emphasis on the remarkable experience I would have of her on 18 November when her power was to flow into me in such a phenomenal stream. Her actual physical 'death' was not significant and changed nothing for me regarding the inner contact. But that last 'darshan' filled me with a Yoga Shakti and the seed-powers of the Work. That, indeed, was all that mattered for the future. The Work would go on. Somehow all the promises would be fulfilled.” [Bold emphasis added]
In 1976, 50 (45 + 5) years into the Age of Aquarius, and three years after the Mother’s passing, Thea realized that the vesica piscis was an occult key of the Mother’s original temple design, which subsequently unveiled to her the 1963 rebirth of Sri Aurobindo on “Immortality Day,” as the Son or “Fourth” of Sri Aurobindo’s avataric lineage, 91 years after his 1872 birth. Thus we can appreciate that, with the Mother’s life and passing at the age of 95, as well as her own 1971 initiation, and the 1976 revelation of Sri Aurobindo’s rebirth in mind, Thea considered the 90-99 year timespan or cycle to be an important gestational cycle in the establishment of the unifying seed of the supramental consciousness on Earth. And we can also appreciate that the key of the vesica pisces first announced itself as a key of the Supramental Descent—i.e. the yoga of the Supramental Avatar—circa the 4.5 point of 1926-2016 and then in 2016 the vesica piscis proceeded to reveal exactly how it was intended to be USED to unlock, decode, and make integral sense of the ancient book of the Vedas and all of the MANY related symbols and myths, which humanity has not had the Aquarian-Age unity consciousness required to understand are all expressions of the same evolutionary and zodiacal journey and goal.
Below is a collection of some of Thea’s writings on the significance of the 90-year time span, and of the 9 years that bring the count to 99 years [90 + 9], which we can utilize to help us understand the ennead and events of 2016-2025, spanning 90 and 99 years into the dawn of our Age of Aquarius. All bold emphasis and text in brackets below is added.
“This early morning brought the experiences I had been praying for. Now I know you are with me, and that you are in control, that all will work out. Now I know we shall all be victorious. Yes, the Mother brought about the reversal of her consciousness after 90—she became a transmuted part of the New Consciousness and the New Creation. “In time cycles the [Sun and Pluto] are the moment of conception (09) and the point of 90 years of age, both times when these poles are brought together, the Bright God and the Dark God. As we can see, the body's fullest development, or the fullest experience for the cells would be completed at 90, the reverse of the condition or conception, or its ultimate manifestation….
“The cycle then turns upward and begins to wind toward the peak point signifying the completion of the process [of regeneration] around the 99th. (Thea, Symbols and the Question of Unity, pp. 134, 150)

“Startling things were revealed just before the [the Mother’s 17 November 1973 passing], things that made clarity out of obscurity, and made sense of all the paradoxes. But topping it all, an even greater paradox was added, by the Mother leaving her body in such a way, at such a time….
“It was shown that in the arrangement of the planets in the solar system one could understand the unfolding of life for a gnostic being, given the actual conditions of evolution ‒ that is, in this stage of transition. It was seen that at 90 the harmonies were such that the life conditions would be similar to those of a foetus in gestation. The period for the formation [of a human infant] is 9 months and at 90, lasting for 9 years, a gnostic being would pass through a similar phase and then and only then would the beginning of regeneration be possible, for only then would a truly full cycle be completed within the natural evolutionary laws. Moreover, each step in this process could be followed, and in fact there was the Mother's own work to verify it. In the light of these harmonies one could see that after 90 the being would begin to revert to the “pre-natal” condition, in a sense. That is, a similar process was begun, but in the reverse order. With the foetus it was a building up; this time it would have to be an initial breaking down of the structure, to then rebuild it again. In the case of a full transformation this would mean therefore that all the bodily senses and faculties and manoeuvrability would be lost, to be rebuilt once more, following a very precise evolutionary plan, in a sense not deviating or defying any law of Nature but rather moving along within these laws, and only carrying them through a stage that had simply never been reached before, be cause it, would have had to be fulfilled by a being living in the consciousness of Immortality.
"To be more precise, we can say that after 90 all the faculties and sensory perceptions would slowly diminish,—sight, hearing, voice, and so forth, leaving only the basic essential structure and functions, with even a loss of control therein, just as in an infant. It was seen that this was the deeper sense of a return in the aged to the condition of a child; only in all cases there is not the proper consciousness and there is the acceptance of death by the cells which defeats the action of transformation. Rock-bottom in the process would be reached between the 94th and 95th years, after which the regeneration in its true sense, the actual re-formation, or superimposition, or whatever would be about to take place, could then begin.... "Does this not perhaps mean that the rhythm is working as it should in spite of the paradoxical appearances? And is not this point also, as well as all the others we have been able to verify, a part and parcel of the design and the necessary step for the completion of the total cycle by the 99th?" In the building up of the foetus we know that from the 6th month on birth is possible because the essentials are there and almost fully developed. Premature births occur then generally in the 7th month, which in the solar system would fall under the rule of Uranus, the planet of the Unexpected, ironically enough! In like manner in the case of transformation, the "other body" would then have to be fully formed by the 6th year after the 90th, whether it be on this plane or on the subtle physical.” (Ibid., p. 148)

“The number scale of 9 corresponds to our present vision of the solar system consisting of 9 planets plus the sun (the zero). This has its correspondence in our method of demarcating time. Thus one of the principal features of this new cosmology is the cycle of 9 years. This represents a period of wholeness and allows for the completion of a process, even as the human gestation period is also a measure of 9 and results in the completion of a living, mental creature. We have then cycles of 9 months, 9 years, and even 99 years. Indeed, a particularly sensitive cycle is the final 9 years of a 99-year span. “According to the Gnostic Circle the full life of the physical is 90 years, after which its transformation can start according to and in harmony with evolutionary laws and not sporadic miracles. It is at that time that the 0 and 9 become one again, the Sun and [the 9th planet or orbit] Pluto join, the Light God and the Dark One; the Circle is completed. “I have often emphasised in my writings that the 90/99 year cycle is very significant in a process of transformation in which a harmony of spirit and matter is sought (see, Symbols & The Question of Unity, ‘Transformation of the Body and the Cosmic Rhythm’, 1974). In The Vishaal Newsletter of October, 1985, this cycle was discussed with regard to the Indian National Congress and its 90th birthday in 1975, initiating the important 9-year cycle to its 99th birthday in 1984; the very time that Rajiv Gandhi won the national elections for the Congress with an unprecedented majority. Likewise, India has known another 9-upon-90-year cycle that may be considered perhaps the most important in her long and ancient history. This began in 1857. At that time the nation entered the ‘final round’ in a process that was to result in the birth of the new India (see, The New Way 1&2, page 191). Thus, 90 years after 1857, independence from Britain was attained. Yet that independence year, 1947, was in itself the start of another significant cycle, – the 9 years to complete the full 99 in 1956. With this latter, a ‘new body’ was formed; or, to be more precise, – a seed.
“As students of Sri Aurobindo’s life and works are aware, 1956 was the year of the long-awaited Supramental Manifestation. Thus those final nine years from 1947 to 1956 brought into being a ‘condensed seed’ which from then onward was to evolve, expand, extend itself outward. "[T]he 9th Avatar, in an unbroken line of time [reappeared] as the 10th (10=1), as Kalki, in the 91st (9/1) year after his first appearance, 1872.... [T]he 9th Avatar’s appearance in 1872 initiated that grand march across the threshold of an Age and into the realm of the Zero, of Swar. Prior to his coming and the successful completion of that mission, the bridge connecting this human habitat to Swar was lacking. It was indeed a ‘heaven beyond’ and not of this Earth. The 9th Avatar’s mission was to create that bridge and thereby to bring that Heaven down to Earth. He completed this crossing 91 years after his birth in 1872. What is transpiring now is merely a final settling of the terrain, similar to the lengthy after-shocks of a mighty Uranian quake. These ‘shocks’ are the stirrings of the Becoming precisely so that the new order may be a faithful reproduction of that majestic Cosmic Truth, essence of the innermost Vedic ‘seed’ at the heart of the civilisation....
"Its final amalgamation would depend on the next avataric appearance – precisely the 9th in the Hindu Line of Ten, insofar as the discovery of the Zero was the first prerequisite for that future appearance. Without the unveiling of the Zero, the 9th Avatar could not carry out his mission which hinged precisely on carrying the movement of consciousness across Time’s threshold, through his own death and rebirth, by virtue of which that very Zero would give forth the One. While contemplating the above in relation to my accident 99 years into the Aquarian Age, I was reminded that first time I broke a bone/wrist—both wrists at once in fact in a gymnastics accident—was 13 February 1979, one day after my 10th (9 + 1) birthday, which is a microcosm of the 100 year span (90 + 10). That first break in 1979 fell at the tail end of what would have been the Mother’s 100th year [(9 x 10) + 10 + 1], 8 days before her 101th birth anniversary.
It was only after my 1999-2000 experience of, i.e. initiation into, the supramental consciousness-force, culminating with finding and reading Thea’s book The Gnostic Circle, that I came to understand my 1979 double-wrist break at the age of 10 as well as my father’s suicide 9 years later at the age of 19 (10 + 9), and pretty much all of my personal catastrophes or challenges as not just personal catastrophes or challenges but also as perfectly-timed, supramentally orchestrated markers and crucial catalysts in my yogic adventure. And it is from this perspective, the perspective of “No Accidents,” that I have been viewing, understanding, and discussing my 2025 wrist break one day after Saturn—which Thea called the “Time Spirit”—moved into 0° Aries.

[2] The full gestation of a human fetus is 280 days (9 months + 10 days); and I have noted elsewhere in relation to this 19 November 1969 entry and date of the Mother’s Agenda, that 19 November falls 280 days after my 12 February 1969 birthdate. In terms of degrees of the 360° zodiacal year, 24° Aquarius (12 February) + 280° [7 x 40°] = 244° = 4° Sagittarius, closely conjunct the 3°49′ natal Sun position of “the Fourth”. 24° Aquarius + 270° (nine zodiacal months) = 24° Scorpio. If we add 1° to that equation—24° Aquarius + 9 months/270° plus 1°—we come to 25° Scorpio which corresponds to the date and degree of the Mother's passing on 17 November in 1973. Thea referred to the nine months before the Mother's passing as "the final nine months of the Mother's mysterious yoga of transformation." These nine months were the first nine months of my 4th year.
