Happy December Solstice to all. This holy day (holiday) marks the entrance into the zodiacal sign of Capricorn/Makar (Makar Sankranti), and with it the "Return of the Light" of the Sun in the Northern Hemisphere. On this sacred day, I am presenting the above image which visually demonstrates the original Vedic, zodiacal, and geometric context and key of the mythology and iconography of Vishnu's Sanatana-Dharma-saving Kurma Avatar, aka the World Turtle who shows up in many ancient cultures of the world. As presented in Geometric Keys of Vedic Wisdom (2018, book), I began seeing, discussing and illustrating the geometric and zodiacal basis of Vishnu's Avatar's circa the March Equinox of 2016, the year of Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet's (Thea's) passing.

The new image of Kurma I am presenting today was inspired by the image I constructed earlier this year of Matsya Avatar (the Fish) positioned inside the figure and sacred measure of the Vesica Piscis, which powerfully conveys the geometric basis of Vishnu's Matsya Avatar and related world mythologies.

If I had included the zodiacal measure in the orange circle above, the entrance into and hieroglyph of Pisces (Matsya/Mina) would fall at the intersection of the two circles (= the top of the Vesica Piscis/Mandorla). See: "The Obstruction of the Vedic Waters & the Fixed Sign of Scorpio ⁓ Part Four ⁓ The Vedic Sense and Geometry of the Water Sign Hieroglyphs".

In the Fall of 2022, I set upon constructing the new illustration of Kurma to present on the 2022 Winter Solstice, in order to more powerfully and compactly convey the zodiacal and geometric basis of Vishnu's Turtle Avatar. This image includes several sacred symbols and numbers inside itself: the Sun Symbol (circle and point), Vishnu's Satkona (six-angled/pointed star, aka the Star of David), the four overlapped Vesicae Piscis (partially obscured by the inner circle containing the Satkona) that measure out the Zodiac from the four Cardinal Points of the Earth's Solar-Tropical Year (=the four Equinoctial and Solstitial Points of the Earth's Year), the twelve-division and twelve signs of the Zodiacal Year, and the 24-hour division of the Earth's Day.

I am publishing this image as a visual catalyst towards the reestablishment of the divine/solar measure and Sanatana Dharma (Eternal Law/Truth) of the Tropical Zodiac in India, as well as the reestablishment of the geometric and zodiacal sense of the Rig Veda in India and throughout the world.

Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet (Thea) began discussing Vishnu the Preserver and his ten avatars (including Sri Aurobindo) in relation to the four preservation signs and ages of the Zodiac in The Gnostic Circle (written in 1973, the year of the Mother's passing). She wrote dozens of series and articles on the necessity of India's reestablishment of the Solar/Tropical measure of the Vedic Year as the basis for its sacred holy days, festivals, and ceremonies. In her view, India's destiny of becoming World Guru (Vishwa Guru) is not possible without India's recognition and realignment with the true, solar measure of the Zodiac, as well as its recognition of the zodiacal basis of the Rig Veda and its 360° sacrifice/yajna.

On the revamped www.360lotus.com website, I added a "VEDIC YEAR" page consisting of links to Thea's many writings on India's mismeasure of the Vedic Year/Zodiac and the need to realign with the Solar/Tropical Year in the observance and celebration of sacred holidays, such as Makar Sankranti (the entrance into the sign of Capricorn). All of the annual Indian holy days and festivals that are calculated using the various sidereal mismeasures of the Zodiac Year are celebrated some 23-24 days late. In the case of the Kumbha Mela, this mismeasure amounts to years. In the case of lunar-based zodiacally calculated festivals such as the Navaratri, this mismeasure amounts to a month. Any who are interested in learning about or in helping to correct this mismeasure of the Vedic Year/Zodiac in India, please read Thea's in-depth writings on the subject.

I will get back to writing/finishing the Spherical Gnosis of the Sage and the Release of the Vedic Waters series in the New Year.

May we all experience the Return of the Light
of the unifying Truth-Consciousness-Bliss of the Soul
in our lives and in our world.
